“God on Earth: An Answer Just a Question Away” by Karen Heumann recounts the author’s

struggles and journey to recognize the message of God in her life

SAN DIEGO – “God on Earth: An Answer Just a Question Away” (ISBN 1466382430), a self-help guide by Karen Heumann, describes how readers can come to recognize the presence of God in all that they do and draw on that recognition when faced with personal crises.

As Heumann’s family home burned to the ground in the 2007 wildfires that raged across Southern California she had to wake her children and husband and drive through the flames to escape. She is raising four sons, one son autistic, another with panic attacks since the fire and another that has undergone four brain surgeries. Throughout these difficult situations God has walked with Heumann and given her the strength and encouragement to thrive. Now she shares her story with readers and shows them how they too can learn to see God and access his messages for their lives.

“We need God even when we think we don’t, in good and bad moments, and He is always with us,” says Heumann. “We all have personal struggles and you don’t have to face them alone, simply learn how to see Him.”

Weaving personal narrative with spiritual insight and the unique perspective of one who has been through intense personal struggles, Heumann provides a thoughtful account of the interdependence of all of us and how we can discover that God is visible. Intended to engage, encourage and inspire spiritual growth, the book is intended for readers of all
ages interested in growing closer to God.
